Man

The Man:

· is the artist.
· is a male person:
· naked and sexual (by presence of body part).
· asexual (by touch and look).
· is a human.
· is alone and together with the other men.
· is rooted in the earth 3m deep to withstand the tides.
· stands vertically in the horizontal landscape.
· is the ‘homo erectus’, the ’upright Man’,
· and is therefore any one of us.

And this recognition that he is our ancestor, literally standing out from nature through his intelligence, finally embraces this piece of art about us and nature and connects

the individual Man standing apart

into Men.
